Harris Dam is not far at all from Eidson Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Bosque River. Do visit Edison       Lake near Eidson Lake, it's a charming lake, and City Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Eidson Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is December. At Eidson Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's.
