The high level of rainfall makes Edwards Lake a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Edwards Lake Dam is a pretty place close to Edwards Lake; camping at Harris RV is always a delightful experience. For the period of the summer here at Edwards Lake, high temperatures regularly get       into the 90's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 70's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Edwards Lake. For you golfers we recommend close by Cypress Creek Country Club; a great close by hotel is Mt. Vernon Super 8 Motel. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Edwards Lake. You're sure to come across some fine people from Mount Pleasant here, and glorious hiking is                  available along the Lake Bob Sandlin State Park Trail. A great site to camp here at Edwards Lake is Cypress Springs Marina and Resort, and after a long day outdoors Thee Hubbell House is a great place to spend a night or two.   Mt.
