Echo Lake Dam is a site that is near Echo Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Trinity River - Clear Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Fort Worth Midtown RV Park; nice hiking is available along the Benbrook Lake Trail. Go for a hike on the Village Creek Historical Area Trail;       since you're here, you could also stop by pretty Elliot Lake. High temperatures at Echo Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Echo Lake. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Trinity River - West Fork; Sycamore Creek Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby. The amount of precipitation                  that falls at Echo Lake is close to the national average; May is when you get the most rain here, and December is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Echo Lake is great! If you came for an overnight stay Redwood Estates Mobile Home Park is a great place to camp, and if you're going to from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful.
