There are good places to discover along the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge Trail, and the good folks of McAllen-Edinburg-Pharr like to hang out close by. During the summer months highs here at East Lake get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 70's. Highs during the winter       are commonly in the 60's while East Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 40's. East Lake is typically a pretty dehydrated place; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and March is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to East Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Inland Lake is one of those close by; if you need a spot to stay La Copa Alamo is a magnificent choice. This                  lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge Trail is always a tremendous adventure; East Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Alamo Rose Mobile Home and RV Park is a wonderful local campground. Golf can be played at Tierra Del Sol Golf Club. Looking for something in the neighborhood of East Lake?
