Summertime at Durst Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime       at Durst Lakes temperatures drop to the 30's. Durst Lakes is a reasonably wet place frequently with much rain; most of the rain falls during May, and August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a lovely lake called Eagle Lake near Durst Lakes, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Neches Bluff Trail. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Nacogdoches is a great place to spend a night or two, and Beaver Creek is one                  of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. A nice close by hotel is Econo Lodge Nacogdoches, and nearby you discover the 4 - C National Recreation Hiking Trail which is a good hiking trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Durst Lakes is peerless!
