If you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Livingston is a good choice, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Bull Creek Trail. After a long day outdoors Best Western Livingston Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Kickapoo Campground is a great campground nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dry Lake a wet place; through May this area sees the most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. It's a good idea to pop by Brushy Creek, it's near Dry Lake, and there are other locations here than Dry Lake, for example Price Lake.  | I'm not sure there is a public Carmona Lake. Years ago there was a private lake in the approximate location shown on the map, but the old access road is now closed. Nice campground. However I would hold off until all construction has been completed. Great prices and nice scenery. One problem was that probably due to construction the ants were out in force. Once completed it will be one of the nicest parks on the north side of the lake.......to our fishing pier to cast your line for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Striped Bass, and various other species.
