If you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Livingston is a good choice, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Bull Creek Trail. After a long day outdoors Best Western Livingston Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Kickapoo Campground is a great campground nearby. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Carmona
Lake is in the neighborhood; you can stay the night at Holly Bluff Campground.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Dry Lake a wet place; through May this area sees the most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. It's a good idea to pop by Brushy Creek, it's near Dry Lake, and there are other locations here than Dry Lake, for example Price Lake. Through the long summer days at Dry Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's, and through the

night it cools down to the 70's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Dry Lake.

Carmona Lake
I'm not sure there is a public Carmona Lake.  Years ago there was a private lake in the approximate location shown on the map, but the old access road is now closed. There is no marina on the lake to my knowledge. Can anyone give specific directions to ''Carmona Lake''? Any additional info would be appreciated. Thanks, Lee Mathews...

Lakeside RV Resort and Marina
17 miles away
Nice campground.  However I would hold off until all construction has been completed.  Great prices and nice scenery.  One problem was that probably due to construction the ants were out in force. Once completed it will be one of the nicest parks on the north side of the lake.......to our fishing pier to cast your line for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Striped Bass, and various other species.
Whether you're looking for a steak, a cold beer or just good old Texas cooking, you?re in luck! Head on over to the Lakeside Bar & Grill, our magnificent 6,000 sq. ft. full-service restaurant / check-in center, where we can satisfy the smallest to the most generous of appetites. We have an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering steaks, fresh seafood and delicious sandwiches. We also feature a bar offering a full selection of beer, wine and cocktails.
We are proud of our extensive, well-maintained facilities and understand the home-away-from-home needs of today's RV traveler. Our resort amenities include: beautifully landscaped grounds, 150 full hook-up concrete pad sites, sparkling swimming pool and heated outdoor spa, two bathhouses, large picnic pavilion, tennis and volleyball courts and much, much more.
The surrounding area has something for everyone, whether it's biking, hiking, walking the nearby trails, horseback riding, golfing, boating or fishing.
