This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Sleep Inn & Suites is a fine choice, and some close by water includes Bell Branch. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. A pleasant spot to camp here at Dodds Lake is Lake Tyler Marina, and you can take a little visit       to Dodds Lake Dam since you're here at Dodds Lake. Not far from Dodds Lake, you'll find Lake Tyler which is a lovely lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Neches River. The annual rainfall here at Dodds Lake is about average; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is August. For the period of the summer here at Dodds Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's. Daytime                  highs during the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Dodds Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
