Beautiful Dies Lake has much to offer visitors. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Jasper is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Lakes are good; Bevelport Reservoir is a lake that's near Dies Lake. The Martin Dies State Park Trail offers hiking at its best; Beech Grove Campground is a wonderful campground here. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Dies Lake. A good nearby hotel is Budget Inn.

Highs during the winter are typically in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dies Lake drop into the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dies Lake a wet site; during December this area sees the most rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dies Lake is right by the Sawmill Hiking Trail, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at Lingo Lake Dam near Dies Lake.
