Go for a hike on the Mount Hope Tract Trail, and Weston Inn & Suites is a good spot to get some rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Dickey Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Neches Bluff Campground is a wonderful place to camp, and if you've had enough of Dickey Lake, Parks Lake is nearby. Going for a hike on the Jim Hogg State Historical Park Trail is       always a wonderful adventure, and splendid hiking is available along the Neches Bluff Trail. A trip to McCann Spring will fill your soul with fine feelings, and if you need a site to stay Southern Motor Inn is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Dickey Lake and you like golf, you can stop at Rolling Hills Golf Course, and getting to College Creek from Dickey Lake is painless. For the period of the months of summer at Dickey Lake                  highs are mostly in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Dickey Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Dickey Lake is not far at all from Jacksonville, and why not camp at Rusk Palestine State Park while you're here at Dickey Lake.
