For the duration of the summertime highs here at Devils Lake reach the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Devils Lake throughout the wintertime mostly fall into the 30's. Hiking along the Big Thicket - Big Sandy Trail is glorious fun, and Super 8 Livingston is a great place to get some rest.       This lake is so wonderful. Devils Lake is right by the Lake Livingston State Park Trail; you'll stumble on a charming lake called Gerlach Lake. Take a side spree to Sally Creek, and Lake Livingston State Park is a great campground nearby. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do near Devils Lake. Stay the night at Escapees Rv Club, and do take a hike on the Big Thicket - Woodlands Trail. C J Gerlach Dam is a charming place in close proximity to Devils Lake,                  and do stop at Lake Londa Lynn, it's a scenic lake.
