If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Deep Hole. Don't leave Deep Hole without first going for a hike along the Ratcliff Lake Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Deep Hole a relatively wet spot; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is August. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular site for people from       Jacksonville; Neches Bluff Campground is a perfect campground nearby. For the period of the summertime months at Deep Hole highs are generally in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Deep Hole. Deep Hole is not the only place nearby, Forman Lake is a nearby lake; Big Springs is a wonderful site                  to check out while you're at Deep Hole. Some nearby water includes Camp Creek; going for a hike on the Old Tram Hiking Trail is always a good adventure.
