A large amount of rainfall falls at Deal Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is August. The smiling people of Mount Pleasant like to hang out nearby, and for you golfers we recommend close by Cypress Creek Country Club. During the warm months highs here at Deal Lake reach the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's,       and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Deal Lake. Don't leave Deal Lake without first going for a hike along the Lake Bob Sandlin State Park Trail, and a good close by hotel is Mt. Vernon Super 8 Motel. Comfort Inn Mt. Pleasant is a great location to get some rest; you can stay the night at Harris RV. So many fun things to do at Deal Lake, so little time. This lake is so wonderful. Deal Lake Dam is a place that is next to Deal Lake.
