Many people like to go to Daniels Pond. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Daniels Pond. Good hiking is available along the Daingerfield State Park Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Daniels Pond; Atlanta State Park Trail is a magnificent local trail. | | into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Daniels Pond fall into the 30's. Very pleasant water scenery is available at Skelton Lake Dam next to Daniels Pond; you're most likely hooked on lakes, Skelton Lake is one of those nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Caddo Lake Camp Ground; if you need a spot to stay Ashley Mountain is a good choice. There's so much to do here | |

All the water falling down from the sky makes Daniels Pond a wet place;
May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is August. Visit Buck Creek if you're here at Daniels Pond; dry warm beds await you at Wildflower Inn.
