Dry warm beds await you at Conroe-Days Inn, and Crater Hill can be spotted from Crater Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Crater Lake a wet spot; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Woodforest Golf Club at Fish Creek is a tremendous golf course nearby. You'll need more than a day to discover everything       Crater Lake has to offer, you can camp at The Country Place. High temperatures at Crater Lake during the warm months are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Crater Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. There's so much to do here at Crater Lake that you                  need to camp here for a while, Brown Road RV Park is a glorious place for that; there are tremendous locations to explore along the Sweetleaf Nature Trail. Baymont Inn & Suites Conroe is a nice spot to get some rest, and East Fork Crystal Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. You could also go to Lake Wildwood while you're here at Crater Lake; it's nearby, and splendid water scenery is available at Lake Wildwood Dam in the vicinity of Crater Lake. Nearby lakes?
