Crab Lake is right by the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge Trail, needless to say you could also pop by Robinson Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. After a long day outdoors Hotel Galvez - A Wyndham Historic Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Open Lakes is just a very short distance away. Through the warm months,       highs generally are in the 90's at Crab Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 60's with temperatures at Crab Lake dipping down into the 40's through winter nights. Crab Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Crab Lake.
