If you came for an overnight stay Chambers Creek Marina is a good spot to camp, also Corsicana Country Club Lake Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. A magnificent nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Corsicana. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Country Club Lake has it all. You could also go to Allison Lake since       you're here at Country Club Lake; it's close by, and camping at Country Club Lake is splendid fun, Clearview Store and Marina is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Waxahachie Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Oak Trail Golf Course is always a bliss. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Country Club Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Country                  Club Lake throughout the wintertime typically sink into the 30's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tonkawa Trail, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CORSICANA I-45 is a nice location to get some rest.
