Texas has many beautiful lakes and Couch Lake is one of them. Camping at Lake Buffalo Campground is always a delightful experience; a brilliant close by hotel is Days Inn Fairfield. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Fairfield, Texas is a nice place to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Fairfield Lake State Park Trails. Couch Lake Dam has delightful water scenery and it's near Couch Lake; people from Palestine love to come here.

If you came to camp Newman's RV Park is a tremendous place to do that, and while you're here, you could stop at Ball Branch. At Couch Lake during the summertime highs are in the 90's.
