If you like lakes and you're in this part of Texas you can check out Cosden Lake. Big Spring Days Inn is a good place to get some rest; Big State Parkring is a delightful campground here. It is very dried up here at Cosden Lake mostly; most of the rain falls through September while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Comanche Lake Dam is gorgeous and it's near Cosden Lake, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Comanche

This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Comanche Trail Municipal Golf Course is always a bliss; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Big Spring, Tx is a great place to spend a night or two. Lots of people from Big Spring come to Cosden Lake, and a short visit to Big Spring is always worthwhile.
