Many people like to go to Cooper Lake. From a rainfall point of view Cooper Lake is a relatively normal spot; May is when you get the most rain here; March is the month with the least moisture. San Marcos River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Cooper Lake, and Ramada Limited San Marcos is a great site to get some rest. If you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn San Marcos is a brilliant choice, and the Prospect Park Trail offers hiking at its best.

This lake is so wonderful. Cooper Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Shady Grove Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and there's fine hiking along the Lockhart State Park Trail.
This place, Cooper Lake, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Cooper Lake Dam has splendid water scenery and it's in close proximity to Cooper Lake, and Cooper Lake is right by the Mary Moore Searight Park Trail.
