Conover Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Glide down the rapids of Johnson Creek in a kayak, and there are plenty of folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington here. The L B Houston Park Nature Trail is a good hiking trail near Conover Lake, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Dallas Grand Prairie-Six Flags. There's so much to do here at Conover Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake is a splendid

| | site for that, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Trinity Creek Mountain Creek Preserve Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. If you're here at Conover Lake and you like golf, you can go to Riverside Golf Club; Super 8 - East of Arlington is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Vilbig Lakes is a lake that's next to Conover Lake. During the summer at Conover Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's;
night lows through the wintertime for Conover Lake tend to be in the 20's. On a delightful day at Conover Lake you can take a hike along the Mountain Creek Lake Park Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
explore nearby Bluebonnet Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Johnson Creek is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Denton Creek. The amount of rainfall that falls at Conover Lake
is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during May; January is the month with the least moisture.
