Throughout the summer at Lake Como temperatures are frequently in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Como temperatures sink to the 40's. Butterowe Bayou is a swamp close to Lake Como, and a splendid forest nearby is Lafitte Grove. Mary Moody Northern Amphitheater is a perfect site to stretch       your legs a bit, and you should check out Carancahua Cove when you're here. Lake Como gets lots of water; September is the wettest month with most rain, and March is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are magnificent; and Pirates Beach near Lake Como is no exception. There's so much to do here at Lake Como that you need to camp here for a while, Galveston Island State Park is a fine place for that. I don't want to stop, cause I'm                  havin' a great time here at Lake Como. You'll meet a lot of people from Houston-Baytown-Sugar Land here, and after a long day outdoors Galveston Condo Rentals is a nice spot to spend a night or two. A lake close by is Greens Lake, and if you came to camp Dellanera Park is a great spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant beach next to Lake Como is Palm Beach, and going for a hike on the Galveston Island State Park Trail is always a great adventure.
