Do stop at Colonial House Lake Dam if you're here at Colonial House Lake, and a magnificent location for whitewater paddling is Furneaux Creek.                  Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Carrollton, and you'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Underwood Lake. Carrollton City of Indian Creek Golf Club is a good golf course nearby, and American Hotel Register Co. is a tremendous location to get some rest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Colonial House Lake; Elm Fork Nature Preserve Trail is a pleasant local trail, and White Rock Creek is a nice whitewater spot nearby. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Colonial House Lake.
