During the summertime months here at Collier Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Collier Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Collier Lake, you'll find Stephenville Country Club Lake which is a pretty lake, and a great nearby       hotel is Stephenville-Days Inn. Getting to Henshaw Creek from Collier Lake is easy, and Collier Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Oaks Mhc and RV Park is a splendid local campground. You'll meet a lot of people from Stephenville here. There's so much to do here at Collier Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Melody Mountain Ranch Park is a fine place for that.
