Do stop at Palmer Lake right next door to Colbert Lake, it's a delightful lake, and Colbert Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Rebel Hill Guest Ranch is a nice spot to camp nearby. A good close by hotel is La Quinta Inn AND Suites Paris; as expected Dead Man Branch flows through this vicinity. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Colbert Lake. For the duration
