Clinton Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Pelican Lodge Catfish Restaurant is a fine local campground, and since you're here, do take a spree to Jackson Arm. Clinton Lake generally gets a good deal of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain; August meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Clinton Lake that you need to camp here       for a while, Crip's Camp is a magnificent place for that, and Uncertain Inn is a pleasant location to get some rest. At Clinton Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 50's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Clinton Lake tend to be in the 30's. Near Clinton Lake you hit upon the Caddo Lake State Park Trail which is a nice hiking                  trail, and Kitchen Creek is in the vicinity of Clinton Lake and is always a delight to stop by. Swamps can be such interesting spots, stop by Alligator Bayou if you're here at Clinton Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn Motel. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the vicinity of Clinton Lake has to offer.
