Buffalo Springs Lake is a magnificent local campground, and lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Benson Lake. Knights Inn Slaton is a magnificent site to get some rest, and there are plenty of folks from Lubbock here at Clear Water Lake. After a long day outdoors Lubbock Days Inn South is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and for you golfers we recommend close by Meadowbrook Golf Course. Clear       Water Lake is pretty waterless commonly; June is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer at Clear Water Lake highs are regularly in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Clear Water Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Brazos                  River - Double Mountain Fork - North Fork, and you'll come across a stunning lake called Blake Lake. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Clear Water Lake.
