Going for a hike on the Wildflower Trail is always a splendid adventure, and if you came to camp The Oaks RV Park is a great site to do that. After a long day outdoors Bastrop Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and close by you come across the Northern Loop Trail which is a great hiking trail. For the period of the summer months, highs generally are in the 90's at Clear Springs Lake, and throughout       the night it cools down to the 70's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Clear Springs Lake tend to be in the 30's. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do next to Clear Springs Lake. The Southern Loop Trail is a great hiking trail close to Clear Springs Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Onion Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. An average amount of rainfall falls at Clear                  Springs Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
