    What a nice lake Clear Lakes is. Clear Lakes gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is January. Playing golf is lots of fun at Sugar Tree Golf Course, and the sight of scenic Joe Bell Mountain is good. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Reservoir Number Twentynine is one of those nearby, and you can stay the night at Weatherford Kampgrounds.

There's so much to do here at Clear Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Serenity  
               Ranch Recreational Vehicle Park is a good place for that.
The Lake Mineral Wells State Park and Trailway offers hiking at its best; do stop by Lake Moncrief Dam while you're here. All through the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Clear Lakes with overnight lows in the 70's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Clear Lakes are in the 20's.

Unfortunately in 2007 The Tarrant Regional Water District www.TRWD.com who owned Twin Points Resort property, reclaimed it from the lessees of over 40years.  Twin Points will no longer be a park open to the public while a gas well has been built less than 300' from the swimming area.  The Tarrant Regional Water District may reopen the area as a park in the undetermined future, most likely after 2012....Information on Burger's Lake dead end of Meandering road is a spring fed pond approx size of 4 olympic size pools with sand, trees, tables. A different beach was on Eagle Mountain Lake where the 5 year old Eagle Mountain Marina is now. oooopppsss....
