Custom Search     Lake Clark     I live 2 blocks from Clark Lake and fish it at least several times per week throughout the year from my kayak. I fly fish and use ultralight spinning gear. This spring has offered unusually good crappie and bass fishing. The largemouth I have caught have ranged from dinks to up to 3 pounds. It seems that there are more half to two-and-a-half pound bass in the lake than I can ever recall in 25 years or so of fishing there. April popper fishing has been very good,     but for the best popper bite one has to be on the water around dawn, and things usually slow dramatically by 8:30. After that you can still pick up a lot of fish on woollybuggers, Clouser Minnows and 4-inch Power Worms. Says B. H.
