A golf course close to City Lake is Country Oaks Golf Course, and at Trinidad City Lake Dam in the neighborhood of City Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see. This lake is so wonderful. City Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Creek Landing is a splendid local campground,       and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Gun Barrel City Inn is a splendid choice. During the summertime months at City Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's; the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 70's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 50's, and night lows during the winter for City Lake tend to be in the 30's. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Camping at Fisherman's wharf is always a pleasant experience,                  and if you've had enough of City Lake, Trinidad City Lake is close by. City Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while August is frequently the driest month. Nearby lakes?
