Cheosa Waterhole is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Terlingua Oasis RV Park is a tremendous place to camp nearby;       don't leave Cheosa Waterhole without first going for a hike along the Terlingua Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Big Bend National Park is a national park worth a visit; there are good places to look at along the White Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cheosa Waterhole has to offer, you can camp at B J Recreational Vehicle Park, and Terlingua Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby.
