This lake is so wonderful. Neches Bluff Campground is a nice local campground, and if you've had enough of Chain of Lakes, Chain of Lakes is nearby. Man, is there lots of fun things to do right next door to Chain of Lakes. People from Jacksonville love to come to Chain of Lakes; while you're here you can take a hike along the Old Tram       Hiking Trail. You're most likely hooked on lakes, Pearman Lake is one of those nearby, and do take a hike on the Mission Tejas State Park Trail. Chain of Lakes ordinarily gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is August. For the duration of the warm months at Chain of Lakes highs are typically in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. Highs throughout the                  winter are generally in the 50's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Chain of Lakes plunge into the 30's.
