What a nice lake Cedar Lake is. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Cedar Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 60's; nighttime lows at Cedar Lake throughout the wintertime usually descend into the 30's. After a long day outdoors Inn of the Hills Resort and Conference Center is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and Cedar Lake is not the only location

| | nearby, Cedar Lake is a nearby lake. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Kerrville is a great choice. From a rainfall point of view Cedar Lake is a pretty typical spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is December. This lake is so wonderful. The friendly folks of Kerrville like to hang out nearby, and some close by water includes Byas Branch. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Cedar Lake. Camping | |

Kerr Wildlife Management Area Trail
 | 11 miles away We have had several disappointed visitors show up at the Kerr WMA due to this website. To be clear, the Kerr WMA is a research and demonstration site owned by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. It is not a state park and we do not have all the amenities of such. There is no overnight camping allowed and hiking is limited to one existing trail and paved roads due to on-going research on native and endangered species. Visitors are welcome to drive the main road and bathrooms are available.... |
