High temperatures at Cary Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Cary Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Neches River,       and going for a hike on the Nature Trail is always a perfect adventure. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express JACKSONVILLE is a tremendous choice, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Hope Tract Trail. Here at Cary Lake there are plenty of folks from Jacksonville, and you're almost certainly keen on lakes, Pine Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Cary Lake Mountain is a peak you can make out from Cary Lake; if you came for                  an overnight stay Castle on the Lake Inn and RV Resort is a glorious place to camp. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cary Lake. Best Western Executive Inn is a fine place to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Cary Lake, Henry Lake is close by.
