A lake close by is Archer City Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Wichita Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Carver Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Wichita Falls, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WICHITA FALLS is a great location to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Carver Lake get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's.

| | The winter brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Carver Lake are in the 20's. Near Carver Lake you come across the Lake Arrowhead State Park Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and Archer City Lake Dam is not far at all from Carver Lake.
