A visit to Canyon Lake is always a good idea. Paddling on North Bosque River is so much fun, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Polnac Lake is just a very short distance away. Whitewater paddling is great on Paluxy River, and hiking along the Dinosaur Valley State Park Trail is brilliant fun. The annual rain here at Canyon Lake is about average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and December is when it's the driest.

If the weather is tremendous here at Canyon Lake, you can go for a hike along the Meridian State Park Trail; there's always Canyon Lake Dam to take a look at close to Canyon Lake. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GLEN ROSE is a great location to get some rest, and as expected, this is a great region for folks who like lakes, Arena Lake is a lake close by.

at Oakdale Camp N Fish is always a tremendous experience. For the duration of the days of summer here at Canyon Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 60's. High
temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Canyon Lake. This site is peerless, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do next to Canyon Lake. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn
and Suites Glen Rose is a nice location to spend a night or two; while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Granbury.
This lake is so wonderful. Canyon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Oakdale
Park is a great local campground, and going for a hike along the Bosque Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
