If you came for an overnight stay Garner State Park is a wonderful location to camp; a short tour to Cade Spring is always worthwhile. Nearby lakes? Sure, Kalentine Hole is close to Cade Hole; on a pretty day you get a great panorama of Schoolhouse Mountain from Cade Hole. This lake is so wonderful. Allison Hollow is a good spot       to take a look at nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Mesa Motel. Camping at Cade Hole is great fun, Welch Feed and RV Center is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nueces River. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Cade Hole reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and night lows throughout the winter for Cade                  Hole tend to be in the 30's. It is very arid here at Cade Hole typically; most of the rain falls all through May, and the driest month of the year is December.
