Texas has many beautiful lakes and Cabell Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at The Vineyards Campground on Lake Grapevine. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Denton Creek; after a long day outdoors Sheraton Grand Hotel Dfw Airport is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Bear Creek Golf Club, and if you come at the right time of year, Furneaux Creek offers some fine whitewater.

Park is a nice campground nearby. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do close to Cabell Lake. A pleasant nearby hotel is Dallas-Days Inn Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport, and you can take a little visit to Cabell Lake Dam if
you're here at Cabell Lake. Take a little spree to Mud Springs while you're here at Cabell Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Elm Fork Nature Preserve Trail.
