It's always fun to stop by Butler Lake. Camping at Lake Colorado City State Park is always a fine experience; a wonderful close by hotel is Colorado City-Days Inn. Butler Lake is typically a quite dehydrated place; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is January.

Baymont Inn And Suites Snyder is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Butler Lake called the Lake Colorado City State Park Trail, also Butler Lake Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here.
