Here at Buffalo Springs Lake there are plenty of people from Lubbock, and dry warm beds await you at Lubbock Days Inn South. Not much precipitation falls here at Buffalo Springs Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we       recommend Brazos River - Double Mountain Fork - North Fork It's always good to visit Buffalo Springs. Buffalo Springs Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Twin Pine RV Park is a good spot to camp nearby. McMillan Dam has perfect water scenery and it's near Buffalo Springs Lake; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Lake Ransom Canyon.
