On a delightful day at Brushy Lake you can take a hike along the Big Thicket - Beaver Slide Trail, and Duke Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. All through the days of summer at Brushy Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Brushy Lake       dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. If the weather is great here at Brushy Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lake Livingston State Park Trail, and Super 8 Livingston is a tremendous site to get some rest.
