It's always fun to stop by Brushy Lake. Summertime highs at Brushy Lake generally tend to be in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 50's while Brushy Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. What would a location like Brushy Lake be without interesting nearby traits like Hog Head Bluff, and of course Alabama Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking

fine spot to visit. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites Lufkin is a great place to spend a night or two, and Neches Pines Golf Course is a fine golf course close by.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than
a day to look at everything Brushy Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Oaks Oasis Mobile Home Park, and a good swamp near Brushy Lake is Little Cedar Creek. Good hiking is available along the Bull Creek Trail, and Clear Lake is
a magnificent lake close by.
Brushy Lake is a reasonably wet place generally with a large amount of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain; August on the other hand is the driest.
