Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rowlett Creek, and tremendous water scenery is available at Boyd Lake Dam near Boyd Lake. High temperatures at Boyd Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Boyd Lake       descend into the 30's. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Duck Creek, and don't leave Boyd Lake without first going for a hike along the Sister Grove Park Trail. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really abundant here at Boyd Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Boyd Lake has to offer, you can camp at Collin Park RV Resort and Marina; going for a hike on the Trinity Trail is always a good adventure. Go for a hike                  on the Wylie Community Park Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Rockwall, Texas. This lake is so wonderful.
