This lake is so wonderful. At Bowers Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Bowers Lake are in the 30's. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn - Somerville is       a great location to spend a night or two; if you're here you can play some golf at Copperas Hollow Country Club. If you need a location to stay Days Inn And Suites Rockdale Texas is a tremendous choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bowers Lake; Lake Somerville Trailway is a tremendous local trail. Visit Blackhawk Branch since you're here at Bowers Lake; camping is available at Rockdale RV Park.
