There is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to Blue Lake called the Double Lake Trail; camping is available at 3278 Campgrounds and Marina. This lake is so wonderful. An attention-grabbing thing to check out near Blue Lake is Laurent Lake Dam, and on a wonderful                  day you can take a hike along the Lake Livingston State Park Trail. Blue Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you get bored of Blue Lake, you could also stop at close by River Lakes; dry warm beds await you at Park Lane Hotel At Four Seasons. This lake is so wonderful.
