Going for a hike along the Ratcliff Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and camping is available at Mouth of Hickory Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Big Slough is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Neches Bluff Trail. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Old Tram Hiking Trail, and lots of people from       Jacksonville come here. All through the months of summer at Blue Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. Summer night lows dip down to the 70's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Blue Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Neches Bluff Campground is a great place to camp.
