Why not camp at Rusk KOA if you're here at Blue Lake. Lakes are good; Grassy Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Blue Lake. Through the days of summer highs here at Blue Lake get into the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and night lows at Blue Lake all through the winter frequently       dip into the 30's. Atoy Creek is a pretty stream that is worth checking out, and going for a hike along the Old Tram Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Brushy Lake; do take a hike on the Jim Hogg State Historical Park Trail. Much rain falls at Blue Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; August                  is the month with the least moisture. What a place this is for outdoors people.
