A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Bland Lake is San Gabriel River; why not camp at Elgin Bird Haven RV Park while you're here at Bland Lake.       A round of golf at nearby Mustang Creek Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brushy Creek. High temperatures at Bland Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 90's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Bland Lake. If you want a pleasant                  time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bland Lake.
