This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn and Suites Llano is a good choice, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Cherokee Creek. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Blackjack Pond; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and December on the other hand is the driest. This lake       is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Woodward Pond is close at hand, and a delightful vista of striking Blackjack Hill is available. High temperatures at Blackjack Pond during the summer months are in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 50's with temperatures at Blackjack Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Some of the water nearby flows, like Dick Hooten Branch, and a                  great place to visit is Bear Hollow. The Colorado Bend State Park Trail offers hiking at its best; why not camp at Colorado Bend State Park since you're here at Blackjack Pond. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun.
