Camping is available at Flame Mobile Home and RV Park, and a lake nearby is Old Lake. Through the summer months at Black Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime       temperatures at Black Lake dip into the 30's. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Black Lake. Camping at Windsor Place RV Estates is always a great experience; why not take a refreshing hike along the Purtis Creek State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Anding Branch, and Americas Best Value Inn/Athens is a magnificent location to get some rest. Black Lake is a wet place                  that gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and August is when it's the driest.
